Kendall Jenner is the Newest Face of Messika

Messika—a champion of “diamonds in motion”—has tapped one of the fashion industry’s most recognizable faces, Kendall Jenner, for its latest campaign. Renowned for her catwalk prowess, Jenner has also garnered significant attention off the runway for her personal style, which she attributes to a confluence of working with her personal stylist, Dani Michelle, and her own sartorial curiosities. “There are so many amazing and talented designers out there and I try to support and wear new pieces as often as I can” she reveals. Naturally, the designs of Valerie Messika have become an integral part of Jenner’s aesthetic, making her a perfect fit to flaunt the brand’s fineries.

The designer reveals that selecting Jenner for the campaign was an effortless decision. “Kendall is reflective of the key style codes which make up Messika style. She is both a free and confident woman,” she reveals, while also being drawn to the “alpha female” qualities of the supermodel. For Messika, choosing a brand partner—whether it be Jenner or Kate Moss—is an intuitive process that perfectly embodies the Maison’s DNA. “Our muse reflects the Messika woman. She is unique and has something to share through her desires, her personality, and her story. She conveys a strong message and exudes undeniable magnetism.”

For an everyday aesthetic, Jenner is keen on wearing the double ring pavé from the Glam’Azone collection, which she believes highlights the brand’s “vision of women as free, strong, triumphant and radiant, like the heroines of ancient mythology.” Accompanying this unique ring would be a few stackable options for the fingers or ears, or a statement necklace, which she believes to be the perfect way to elevate any ensemble for any day of the week.

The resulting imagery sees Jenner glistening in an undisclosed seaside locale, a modern-day interpretation of the ancient female divinities inspiring Messika’s design process.
