“French designer Sonia Rykiel has died, her daughter Nathalie confirmed today. The enigmatic designer, famous for her colourful knitwear designs, was 86. In 2012, she revealed that she has been suffering from Parkinson’s disease for 15 years.”
2. Amidst the controversial French ban of the burkini, the company’s sales have skyrocketed.
“The so-called burkini was never meant to be a political statement, but the recent controversy over its use in France has apparently given a massive boost to online sales for the swimsuit. The burkini’s creator told the New York Times that sales have gone up 200 percent for the full-body swimsuit.”
3. Lena Dunham and Jemima Kirke stripped down for an unretouched lingerie series.

Spears, who is very much alive, will be the focus of a two-hour biopic tentatively titled Britney.”
