Donald Trump Takes Aim, Katherine Heigl is Still Apologizing, and More

Breaking news, trending stories, industry intel:
This is the S/ List.

1. Donald Trump may have finally gone too far.

“‘Hillary wants to abolish — essentially abolish the Second Amendment,’ Trump said. (That’s not true, even if you include the word “essentially.”) ‘And if she gets to pick…’ he continued, ‘if she gets to pick her judges: Nothing you can do, folks.

‘Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is,’ he added. ‘I don’t know. But I tell you what, that will be a horrible day.'”

2. A recent survey shows that up to 52% of women experience sexual harassment in the workplace.

“Of the women surveyed, 35 percent said the most common harassment they encountered was “hearing comments of a sexual nature about other women,” and while over half of women on average have experienced sexual harassment at the workplace, that percentage rose to 63 percent for women between the ages of 18 to 24.”

3. Katherine Heigl is still apologizing for hurting Seth Rogan’s feelings.

“The fact that a woman’s career disintegrated after she accurately pointed out an example of Hollywood sexism, just a few years before gender discrimination became a major industry talking point, seems like the real crime here — not hurting Seth Rogen’s feelings”
