Younger-Looking Eyes While You Sleep? We’ll Take Two!

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul, but as far as we’re concerned, they’re more like windows that open to reveal your age, health, level of sleep-deprivation, energy, etc.. So in light of that, we’ve been asking ourselves if we’re doing everything we can to ensure they’re at the top of their game. (The added bonus here, is that a nice eye treatment feels fantastic, so it’s a good repose for a frazzled brain and an overtired you.)

Before bed, take a few minutes to focus on your eyes with some of these contraptions.

Foreo IRIS

  1. The Foreo IRIS

This nifty little eye massager just became available in Canada at Murale this month, so pick it up and spend a few minutes before bed letting it work its magic by using Alternating T-Sonic technology to massage the area, which not only feels nice (hello, relaxation!) but also increases blood flow to the eye area, and helps work in your eye creams or gels. The result is a brighter eye area with minimized dark circles, reduced puffiness, and faded crow’s feet. Bonus? Do this from your bed, and it just might help get you nice and relaxed, for a better night’s sleep. (Which equals brighter-looking eyes.)

Tria Age-Defying Eye-Wrinkle Correcting Laser

2. The Tria Age-Defying Eye-Wrinkle Correcting Laser

When it’s time to bring out the big guns, lasers are our natural go-to. A one-minute massage (ok, it tingles a bit more than a massage might) around the eye each day, and you’re on your way to more collagen production in the area. Do this before bed so that any temporary redness will be your secret (and maybe your pillow’s). In two months, you’ll be waking up to younger looking eyes.

Iluminage copper-infused eye mask3. The Iluminage Skin Rejuvenating Eye Mask

Sleeping in a super-dark room has been shown to improve sleep quality, and better sleep quality equals a brighter-eyed and bushier-tailed you. Not only will using a sleep mask help get you a deeper sleep, but using a copper-infused option like this one has additional benefits. The mineral helps the skin’s rejuvenation process—one that primarily occurs while you sleep—so slap on this mask, and you can expect to see a noticeable improvement in your skin’s appearance after a month of use (and it’ll only get better from there).

First Aid Beauty Overnight Eye Balm

4. First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm

A good eye cream is a no-brainer for parched peepers, but one made especially for overnight use is best, as it’ll moisturize and protect, but a cream that helps improve circulation will help minimize the puffiness caused by eye-area water-retention that we so often wake up to. First Aid Beauty’s overnight balm helps support collagen production with a number of vitamins and minerals, which is exactly what you want after using a treatment like the Tria Eye-Wrinkle Correcting Laser.
