Bold Brows for a Beautiful Cause

The San Francisco-based beauty brand, Benefit Cosmetics, has always stood firm on their belief that “Laughter is the best cosmetic,” making light (and light work) of our biggest beauty gripes through solution-based products (A blemish? Don’t stress! Dab on some “Boo Boo Zap” and forget about it). But for the aptly named beauty brand, the benefits don’t stop at killer brows, flawless skin and lashes so lush you won’t believe They’re Real.

Throughout the month of May, Benefit’s Bold is Beautiful program will support women’s charities by beautifying brows (just in time for that pre-summer vacation), and donating every dollar from its signature brow waxing service to Beauty Gives Back’s Look Good Feel Better program, an initiative that helps to support women battling cancer deal with the often-ignored emotional aspects of treatment, and Habitat for Humanity Canada’s Women Build program, which fosters community and empowerment by bringing women together to build homes for those in need.

Last year, Benefit’s Bold is Beautiful project raised over $2.9 million USD in the US, UK, France and Australia (perfecting more than 170, 000 brows in the process), and after major success, the brand is expanding this year’s charitable brow bonanza to nine countries, including (for the first time) Canada.

So let’s get on it, ladies. (And gents, too!) We know that a polished set of brows can do wonders for our overall appearance—and our confidence. Add a serving of feel-good karmic points, and we’re sold.
