Introducing the Artful New Range Rover Evoque Convertible

Last week, Land Rover debuted the newest addition to their oeuvre: a convertible edition of their successful Evoque coupe. Adding hype to the vehicle’s November release, Land Rover’s design team created six wireframe sculptures of the Range Rover Evoque Convertible to display publicly. Made from aluminum and finished in a range of bold hues, the wireframes offer an artful preview of the forthcoming line of convertibles. The sculptures are currently on display in trendy London neighbourhoods such as the Mayfair area, and can be found parked in front of luxury department store Harrods and boutiques such as Bulgari, Burberry and Louis Vuitton.

The launch of the Evoque Convertible will mark the release of the world’s first luxury compact SUV convertible. The car will marry the refined, luxurious energy of a convertible with the sturdy drive expected of an SUV. “Land Rover prides itself on being a class leader when it comes to all-terrain capability and the Evoque Convertible is no different,” said Mike Cross, Land Rover’s chief engineer. “We call it ‘The Convertible for all Seasons.'” The vehicle will be on sale by Spring 2016, but until then, get your fix by visiting the travelling wireframe installations and by watching the test-drive here.
