Montreal’s McCord Museum will be the only North American venue to host the travelling exhibition Horst: Photographer of Style organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. Horst P. Horst (1906–1999) was a legend in the fashion world for his compelling portraits and editorial imagery. His photographs of Coco Chanel and Diana Vreeland, vintage magazine shots (pictured below: an image from the May 1941 issue of American Vogue), as well as rare photos from his travels and nude studies will be on display.
Horst: Photographer of Style runs May 14–August 23 at the McCord Museum.
