Marking its debut in Canada, Spanish company AIRE Ancient Baths has opened in Toronto. Located inside a 1912 Edwardian building at 510A Front Street West, this 23,000-square-foot space brings AIRE’s peaceful signature experiences as it breathes new life into the heritage building. The highly anticipated Toronto location features nine thermal baths where guests can practice contrast therapy by moving between hot and cold water to help boost circulation and reduce stress. The space was created with relaxation and a slow pace in mind, complete with candlelight and silence, the only sound audible being the movement of the water.
There are four signature elements that make up the space. The first is The Palestra Outdoor Bath, an open-air bath unique to the Toronto location, a saltwater bath known as The Flotarium, The Balneum: Thousand Jets Bath, which provides invigorating hydrotherapy. Tepidarium, Caldarium, and Frigidarium baths, each a different temperature and level of tranquility. Another Toronto exclusive is The Signature Boreal Forest Experience, a 150-minute ritual complete with a guided thermal circuit, a 60-minute cedar essential oil massage with jade hot stones, restorative scalp massage, and more.
AIRE is now officially open, making it a great gift for yourself or loved ones this holiday season. Whether you plan to attend for the baths, a massage, the solo ‘Love Myself’ package, or one of AIRE’s couples packages, the space is designed to encourage escape from the outside world. Each immersive experience is emphasized by the warm candlelight and deliberate flow, inviting guests to slow down and be fully present as they restore and refresh.
