Centrix Automatic Diamonds, Rado, $3,400.
Inspired by wind-swept desert sands, the new Rado Centrix line showcases the watchmaker’s unique techniques in a beautiful visual harmony. Since the line’s first release in 2010, Rado Switzerland has been innovating and evolving to come up with new elements and production techniques that all come together in their latest Rado Centrix collection. It comes in light and dark, both paired with polished rose gold and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal that seamlessly blends into the slightly spherical rounded edge. The bracelet continues the theme of elegance with its smooth rose gold and ceramic links to flawlessly match the dial and create a cohesive visual harmony. The newest editions of this collection are radiant and bright with a sunray pattern and a larger anchor logo than previous models. On the automatic versions of the Centrix you can gaze at the high tech Nivachron™ hairspring movement through the smooth sapphire crystal back. The soft contours of the sapphire on both sides of the dial make the watch aesthetically pleasing and soft to the touch, adding the element of comfort for the wearer’s pleasure. The watch is Swiss-made and offers 48 hours of power reserve.
This collection has something to offer everyone thanks to its array of shades and an essence that captures the unique beauty of the desert. On the Centrix Diamond, the 12 diamond hour markers set in dainty rose gold squares beneath the sapphire crystal give the watch an added sparkle and expensive feel. The light Centrix watch reflects light beautifully off the dial thanks to the silver sunray pattern that perfectly entices the eye. While the dark brown dial and smooth ceramic links of the dark Centrix perfectly complement the rose gold elements of the watch. Both shades create a perfect backdrop for an elegant desert-inspired timepiece. Watch here to see the Rado Centrix White and here for the Rado Centrix Brown.
