With New York and London Fashion Week wrapping up, we quickly head into Milan Fashion Week. Prada‘s Spring/Summer 2020 collection kicks us off for a week of exceptional collections. Filled with statement outfits that tell their own story, the collection pulls influences from the ’20s, ’70s, and ’90s, building a slew of references that leave ample room for interpretation in the styles and silhouettes. Described as “a collection about the power of women over clothing, and of style over fashion,” Prada’s SS 2020 show references the many personalities and complexities of women. The show space was a candy-coloured geometric dream, which complimented the hues in the clothing.
