Prada Unveils Its Nylon Pop-Up at Vancouver’s Holt Renfrew Store

Prada has become part of the conscious fashion movement since introducing its Re-Nylon range in 2019. The introductory effort featured a selection of six classic bag stylings comprised of 100% sustainable regenerated nylon sourced from landfills, fishing nets, oceans, and textile fiber waste globally. the After its success, the Italian luxury goods maker is furthering their commitment to environmental causes with their newly expanded Re-Nylon offerings, which now encompass ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories for both men and women.

To celebrate their continued foray into responsible fashion, Holt Renfrew Vancouver has unveiled a pop-up shop to spotlight this extensive collection of items. A digital mise-en-scène will loop videos from National Geographic, which will be displayed in sync on multiscreen large-scale arches. This “video wallpaper” will contain animations of natural elements, as well as the Re-Nylon industrial process. The moving images will be rendered in a stark black and white colour palette, evoking the origins of the brand’s Nylon DNA.

Holt Renfrew will carry a generous selection of products that are realized in a timeless and iconic black hue. The pop-up is open now until November 2nd.
