Miu Miu took to the Italian Alps to debut their Fall/Winter 2021 collection at Cortina d’Ampezzo in the Dolomites with a digital fashion film. Staging the presentation in the snow highlighted the winter-ready garments fit for a mountain adventure and après ski. The video, filmed by Benjamin Kracun, depicts the models on a brave mission, protected by practical yet beautiful garments accessorized with faux fur, ski masks, and padded layers. Other looks feature silk and lace, which showcase a delicate femininity juxtaposed with studded metal details, which Miuccia Prada describes as “warrior lingerie.” The show follows the women traversing this snowcapped environment and meeting at a large bonfire, illustrating how practical wear can still be decorative and exquisite.
