Located inside Montreal’s Royalmount, Louis Vuitton is joining a wide selection of luxury brands at the new mall, which also happens to be Quebec’s largest private development. Louis Vuitton’s concept for the store highlights the exemplary craftsmanship and iconic savoir-faire that the Maison is known for. Offering a curated and bespoke shopping experience of a wide range of men’s and momen’s categories, including; accessories, leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes, fine jewellery, fragrance, books and travel pieces.
To celebrate the complete Louis Vuitton universe and showcase the latest offerings from the Maison, Louis Vuitton put their rarest offerings at the forefront, such as bespoke bags with exotic finishes and hardsided trunks.
The interior of the store features a two-toned limestone façade that references Louis Vuitton’s emblematic Damier pattern created by Louis Vuitton himself in 1888. The Royalmount location is the only store in North America to feature this unique construction. The interior amplifies the immersive shopping experience with natural materials, like petrified wood, shell and stone.
Bold and contemporary pieces by Lautaro Cuttia, Heidi Spector and Benna Holden decorate the showrooms, offering a selection of art-forward creations. Vintage ephemera-like advertisements and catalogue entries from Louis Vuitton’s archive in Paris are framed as fine art to pay homage to the Maison’s Art of Travel lifestyle.
The Royalmount location will be Louis Vuitton’s second store in Montreal and the largest to date in the city, as well as the 10th store to open in Canada. Accompanied by a range of fall activations by the Maison including the September Trunk Show held in Toronto, and the debut of the City Guide Toronto (available in print, and via the City Guide app.).
