The Summer 2027 Women’s Dior collection, imagined by Creative Director Jonathan Anderson, is a study in lightness. Set within the airy enclave of the Jardin des Tuileries in Paris, it reminded us of Anderson’s creative draw and fascination with nature.
As the looks emerged on the runway, it was clear that the ideas first introduced in Anderson’s Autumn/Winter 2026-2027 show were revisited and expanded. It was about looking back, reflecting, and reimagining new possibilities to continue that conversation. But, of course, the look shifts into a summer sensibility––it feels lighter and more relaxed, inspired by the comforting feeling of a warm summer breeze and by letting that sensation pass through clothing. It’s charged with motion, yet effortless.

Symbols returned in new guises–flower-like shapes and volumes, iridescence and cropped silhouettes. Meanwhile, asymmetry and irregularity are also central and sprinkled throughout with unmatched earrings, long scarves draped over the shoulder, voluminous high-low dresses, or off-the-shoulder shapes.
This asymmetry invites motion to take shape freely, bringing that lightness to life. The tension of imbalance labels air almost as if it were a material in itself, an inherent part of lace, silk mousseline, or organza, sliding from transparency to opacity and back again.
