The FENDI Women’s and Men’s Spring/Summer 2021 Collections were shown today in Milan and revealed a sartorial line-up inspired by a slew of personal memories from Silvia Venturini Fendi and Italian history. The designer reminisced about her life in Rome, being home, spending time with family, looking through the window, being in the garden, and seeing those memories from the outside looking in as a reflection. These recollections are mirrored in the design and free-flowing silhouettes of the Spring/Summer 2021 garments that strip the collection of tradition and showcase many new styles for FENDI. Accessories in the collection range from playful picnic baskets, to canvas luggage in pops of colour. Woven boots and bright pumps added flair alongside the FENDI X CHAOS “tech jewelry” collection worn by models such as Edie Campbell and Paloma Elsesser.
