Dior unveiled its Spring 2021 Haute Couture collection with a film showcasing the collection through a series of tarot-inspired settings inside Le Château du Tarot. Maria Grazia Chiuri worked with director Matteo Garrone on the film which follows a character, who embodies a figure symbolizing both masculine and feminine qualities, on her journey to merge qualities from both sexes through a series of tests and questions represented by the Major Arcana of the tarot deck. This mystical inspiration is shown throughout the collection in stunning evening dresses and sophisticated suits that hold exceptional detailing, reflecting Maria Grazia Chiuri’s connection with the imaginary worlds and visual language of the Tarot characters.
