ECCO Introduces 2nd Collaboration with RAL7000STUDIO at Copenhagen Fashion Week

Copenhagen Fashion Week continues to gain momentum, becoming a must-watch event filled with endless inspiration and exciting new launches. ECCO played a significant role in the Autumn/Winter 2024 season, with their Sculpted products featured in Nicklas Skovgaard’s showcase, bags and belts in Sinéad O’Dwyer’s presentation, and through their panels and events.

One of the standout moments for ECCO was the AW24 launch with Italian design agency RAL7000STUDIO, highlighted by a celebratory dinner with renowned Copenhagen chef Frederik Bille Brahe at the ECCO Brand Studio. This limited-edition capsule marks the second collaboration between the two innovative brands, blending playful styles that emphasize comfort and quality, reflecting both brand’s distinct DNA.

Building on the success of the first drop, the collaboration continues to fuse ECCO‘s Danish design heritage with RAL7000STUDIO‘s urban Milanese aesthetic, featuring exaggerated volumes, reflective leather, and ultra-soft leather. Michael Cutini and Marco Simonetti, co-founders of RAL7000STUDIO, joined ECCO during Fashion Week to launch the collection. They participated in a panel discussing the importance of maintaining brand innovation in collaborations, a principle evident in this collection.

Cutini described the shoes as a fusion of “skate shoes and combat boots, blending country and city,” combining two distinct styles into one. The collection includes the slip-on COZMO SANDAL, a streetwear-inspired, comfortable option; the STREET ACE BOOT AND SHOE, which merges comfort with design for both men and women; and the OFFROAD BOOT, a sleek, modern take on a hiking boot with thick tread soles and graphic padding, embodying RAL7000STUDIO‘s signature style.

The COZMO SANDAL and STREET ACE SNEAKER will be available in Canada online and exclusively at ECCO‘s Yorkdale location on August 16th, the OFFROAD BOOT will be released this Fall.
