CHANEL‘s Cruise 2020/2021 collection, titled Balade en Méditerranée, which was originally scheduled to take place in Capri, has been adapted into the French house’s first virtual show.
Elegant, refreshing, and versatile, the Mediterranean-inspired collection was conceived by CHANEL’s artistic director of fashion collections Virginie Viard, with transformational ease in mind and described as “a wardrobe that can be carried in a little suitcase on wheels, a shopper and an embroidered handbag.” The ideal destination wardrobe we’ve all been dreaming of is complete with wraparound dresses, and signature CHANEL tweeds reimagined in light denim and bright hues.
