As one of the most highly anticipated shows at Paris Fashion Week, the curiosity to see what CHANEL will do next is something that often crosses our minds. From an indoor beach to a winter wonderland, the way the team transforms the Grand Palais is always larger than life yet executed perfectly. For Spring/Summer 2020, Artist Director of Fashion Virginie Viard took inspiration from the atmosphere of the French New Wave, with models walking on a runway that emulated Paris rooftops. The collection was chic and light, perfect for the streets of Paris in the spring and summer months, complete with shorts, flowing dresses, and classic CHANEL tweeds reinvented in new silhouettes and bright colours.
