Faithful to the original model, with an elevated sophistication, Cartier’s new Pasha de Cartier collection, features luxurious updates such as a blue spinel or sapphire, interchangeable strap, along with endless possibilities for personalization.
The standout watch that loves light features a signature square form inside of the dial and four bold Arabic numerals for a contemporary appearance. The screw-connection design allows water resistance to approximately 100 meters while retaining minimal thickness. A multi-purpose strap, in various colors and materials, is adaptable and interchangeable by innovative technology—a single push button rather than using a tool.
One of the key design elements of the Pasha de Cartier watch, the chained crown, reveals a blue spinel or sapphire, underneath the crown cover in its new version, enhancing the accessory’s preciousness. A customizable engraving of one’s initials is only revealed when the crown cover is unscrewed.
Since its creation in the 1980s, the Pasha watch has embodied a certain idea of success, shown in its distinctive codes and extraordinary design. The watch was initially adopted by men, then quickly became a unisex, powerful accessory.
The Pasha de Cartier remains unique, yet in tune with new generations of creators, who owe their success to their differences, creativity, and multidisciplinary talents. With this in mind, the Maison enlisted the distinct eye of New York fashion photographer Craig McDean for the striking campaign, starring actors Rami Malek (No Time To Die) and Maisie Williams (The New Mutants), musical artist and activist Willow Smith, singer-songwriter Troye Sivan, and triple threat Jackson Wang. Each talent is forging new, exceptional paths towards achievement in their respective mediums, and have their creativity, assertiveness, and versatility celebrated in five short movies.
“The diffusion of this campaign enables us to share our values of universality and openness. The contribution of our new Pasha ambassadors is a way for our Maison to celebrate this creative dialogue born more than 170 years ago,” says Marketing and Communication Director at Cartier International, Arnaud Carrez.
The Pasha de Cartier watch launches September 4 around the world, available in 35 mm and 41 mm in steel, gold, vibrant diamond-set, and skeleton movement versions.
