Today, Canada Goose has appointed acclaimed designer Haider Ackermann as its first Creative Director. A celebrated figure in the fashion world, Ackermann will bring his expertise in modern design to the forefront of Canada Goose, shaping the brand’s aesthetic and future products through close collaboration with Chairman and CEO Dani Reiss. This announcement coincides with the launch of exclusive styles supporting Polar Bears International, featuring film icon and activist Jane Fonda as the face of the campaign. “Collective action is the only way we can go further, faster,” said Jane Fonda. “I have put my full force into inspiring planet-friendly choices to address the climate crisis, and partnering with Haider and Canada Goose to bring attention to what’s happening in the Arctic is powerful, important, and essential.”
The limited-edition PBI Hoodie, available now in select stores worldwide and online, is crafted from organic cotton, with all proceeds directed to Polar Bears International to support crucial research and community education on the importance of protecting the Arctic. Haider Ackermann’s first seasonal capsule collection is set to debut in Fall/Winter 2024.
