The Padellone has a history at Rolex. Collectors used the name for reference 8171, an earlier watch with a complete calendar. Now it returns on a new Perpetual, which displays the day, date, and month alongside the phases of the moon. The disc’s full and new moons are made from meteorite, adding a tangible link to the night sky.
