Tiffany & Co. has unveiled an extravagant High Jewllery capsule collection that recalls and honours the legacy of Jean Schlumberger’s legendary “Bird on a Rock” design. Under Cheif Artistic Officer Nathalie Verdeille, “Bird on a Pearl” builds on and explores the whimsy of Jean Schlumberger’s bird motif, pairing it with rare natural saltwater pearls, hand-selected from the extensive collection of Mr. Hussein Al Fardan.

In the collection, the enchanting Bird motif takes center stage, poised elegantly atop natural saltwater pearls and spreading its wings. Crafted in 18K yellow gold and platinum, each piece is adorned with precious diamonds and rubies, which enhance the vibrancy of Schlumberger’s original design.

Comprised of four standout creations from Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany: The Bird on a Pearl Earrings, Pendant, Ring, and Brooch—each showcases the innovation and artistry that defines High Jewellery.

The Bird on a Pearl Brooch is especially precious, crafted from platinum and 18K yellow gold with a yellowish brown baroque natural saltwater pearl with over 20 carats, set with yellow diamonds, white diamonds and rubies. The Bird on a Pearl Ring, Earrings, and Pendant build on this initial concept through harmonious and balanced pieces which build on the everlasting legacy of Jean Schlumberger.
