On May 19th, amongst a slew of movie premieres and celebrations, Chopard hosted its annual gala at Cannes. The gala, aptly named ‘UNIVERSE,’ took place inside a transformed airport hangar as an immersive exploration of Chopard co-president Caroline Scheufele’s personal cosmos. The evening began with a cocktail reception set to the sounds of pianist Peter Bence while guests witnessed magic by Illusionist David Jarre. The evening continued with a nature-scape dinner setting that explored the mysteries of the universe through table design and flavour.

The fashion show was a key point of the evening, showcasing 78 unique High Jewellery pieces from the 2025 Red Carpet Collection worn by supermodels Chanel Iman, Helena Christensen, and more. The collection was paired with the latest Caroline’s Couture silhouettes that reflect Scheufele’s memories and passions, come to life through beauty and craftsmanship. The evening came to a close under moonlight as guests, including Halle Berry, Isabelle Huppert, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and many more, sipped champagne, marveled at the latest Chopard creations, and danced into the night to a live performance by Ellie Goulding and a DJ set by Craig David.
