Apple TV+ has released a teaser for the second season of their hit drama series The Morning Show. Starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon—who also serve as executive producers—the show chronicles the power dynamics of men and women within the workplace, specifically in morning news broadcasting. The second season explores the tumultuous journey that both Alex (Aniston) and Bradley (Witherspoon) undergo in order to discover their actual and perceived sense of identity as prominent female figures in media. In addition to Aniston and Witherspoon, the series features Hollywood heavyweights including Steve Carell, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, and Marcia Gay Harden, while also introducing some new faces such as Greta Lee, Holland Taylor, and Hasan Minhaj. Slated for a September 17th release, Apple TV+ has teased some of the drama that is set to take place in the second season, revealing the cutthroat world that daytime television hides from its viewers, and the brave women that set out to dismantle its inherently patriarchal structure.
