To celebrate the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), S and SHARP Magazine co-hosted a private dining experience at The St. Regis Toronto, in collaboration with The Macallan. The elegant event brought together 25 distinguished guests, including filmmakers, content creators, fashion designers, business executives, and entrepreneurs, all united in their passion for cinema and culture during the TIFF. Dinner was hosted at The Loft in LOUIX LOUIS, known for its luxurious ambiance and the most premium and extensive scotch and whisky selections of any restaurant in the city.

Our VIP guests were the first in Canada to discover the newest INFINITI model and experience the bold design and detailed craftsmanship of intelligently integrated INFINITI technologies.

LOUIX LOUIS and The Macallan partnered to curate a four-course dinner featuring a meticulously crafted menu and expert pairings with The Macallan’s finest expressions. Highlighting the evening was a bespoke cocktail experience, including the De-classified Case Cocktail, which featured Macallan’s 25-year-old Sherry Oak, presented with a gourmet caviar garnish – an embodiment of elegance and taste.

The night went on to introduce The Secret Agent’s Reserve Tasting Flight which highlighted rare Macallan spirits inspired by various Secret Agent films. The Secret Agent’s Reserve Tasting Dinner further elevated this concept, offering an extraordinary and unique culinary experience to guests who enjoyed a menu crafted to spotlight The Macallan’s rare selections exclusively for TIFF 2024. These exclusive experiences showcased both the culinary artistry of LOUIX LOUIS and the rich flavours of The Macallan.

Some of the best bites of the night included duck breast with red endive and polenta, paired with The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old, and the rich chocolate mousse hazelnut praline dessert, which paired with The Macallan Rare Cask.

To complement the evening’s theme of luxury and elegance, IWC showcased their finest timepieces, offering guests a glimpse of their iconic collections, including the Portugieser Perpetual Calendar and the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph. Each watch exemplified precision and elegance, mirroring the high standards of the event.

With an intimate gathering of only 25 guests, the event fostered a sense of community among industry leaders and creative minds, all while indulging in the finer things in life.
