Julia Roberts Announced as Godmother of Trophée Chopard Award at 75th Cannes Film Festival

Keeping in line with its significant support of the film industry, Chopard will present the 2022 edition of its Trophée Chopard award at the Cannes Film Festival, which recognizes the next generation of storytellers in international cinema by honouring a promising actor and actress. This year, brand ambassador and Hollywood luminary Julia Roberts will be the honourary Godmother of the Trophée, whose previous winners have gone on to positively disrupt the industry with their talent and charisma including Oscar winner Marion Cotillard, Palme d’or recipient Léa Seydoux, and Florence Pugh. Roberts joins previous Trophée Chopard Godmothers including S/ cover alums Jessica Chastain and Cate Blanchett.

A dinner hosted by Chopard’s co-president and artistic director Caroline Scheufele will be held on May 19th to award this year’s recipients.
