Directed by Matthieu Menu, new documentary Inside the Dream takes viewers on a captivating journey through Francis Kurkdjian‘s first perfume as Dior Perfume Creative Director, the L’Or de J’adore. The film follows Kurkdjian, as he explores Dior’s extensive perfume archives, and spotlights key women who play an important role in his creative process—from his Parisian studio to the dedicated flower producers in Grasse. The film also explores other creative visionaries of the maison, highlighting figures like Maria Grazia Chiuri, master perfumer Calice Becker who created J’adore in 1999, and Véronique Courtois, president and CEO of Christian Dior Parfums. From production sites near Orléans, where scents materialize, to the grandeur of the “Dior J’adore!” exhibition’s debut in Paris, Inside the Dream celebrates the creative journey of L’Or de J’adore.
