Toronto’s fashion start-up Archival Toronto proudly presents the Canadian premiere of WE MARGIELA: the documentary film revealing the intimate and untold story of the eccentric yet notoriously secretive French fashion house Maison Martin Margiela. The film, for the first time ever, investigates the legacy and unique philosophies of one of the most influential fashion houses of our time and how it revolutionized modern style. Co-founder Jenny Meirens, alongside original members of the Margiela family, speak in detailed interviews and give a deeper understanding of the legend who inspires so many. Held at one of Toronto’s oldest independent cinemas, The Fox Theatre will gather film buffs and fashion enthusiasts from all over, just in time for the house’s 30th anniversary.
