Toronto’s most notable joined at Evergreen Brick Works on June 7th as SickKids Foundation celebrated the 17th annual Scrubs in the City fundraising event. With Rome as this year’s theme, the 1200 guests were treated to their own Roman Holiday. From statues to Vespa photo stations, the charm of Rome was felt all over the space. Toben Food by Design, Amano Pasta, Buca, Jamie’s Italian and Piano Piano kept the crowd happy by serving authentic cuisine along with the aerialists serving Prosecco. The event was a massive success raising $820,000 to reimagine the SickKids campus. The proceeds go towards building new clinical facilities for world-class medical leaders and providing the best care to children and their families.
