Jean-Charles de Castelbajac Designs Valentine’s Day Stamps

Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, the designer behind the  infamous teddy bear coat that Madonna wore in the late ’80s, and countless other quirky creations, has partnered with the French postal service for a special Valentine’s Day collection. De Castelbajac’s set of vibrant and whimsical stamps for La Poste, according to the designer, play with primary colours and send a message of peace and love.

He is the latest designer in a long list of impressive collaborators withLa Poste, including as Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy and Lanvin.

Handwritten letters in this electronic day and age are romantic enough, but sending one with a special de Castelbajac stamp takes it that much further.
