Jess Maiorano, a Toronto-based professional pasta chef, had her career sidetracked by the pandemic and subsequent shuttering of restaurants. As a hobby, Maiorano began creating and delivering fresh pasta kits to prospective clients, effectively establishing her business Pasta Forever. As demand grew, Maiorano started offering a fuller menu, weekly specials, and daily deliveries, while also teaching nightly pasta-making classes over Zoom. Maiorano’s side project has now grown into a full-time venture that keeps her passion for this Italian delicacy thriving amid a changing culinary landscape.
