S/ Was There: BSH Home Appliances Opens Luxe Appliance Studio in Vancouver

Located in Vancouver’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood is the newly opened Luxe Appliance Studio space, home to coveted appliance brands Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau. The exceptional space is home to 8 different kitchens across 8,500 square feet displaying over 200 appliances from the brands. The grand opening events took place over three nights, where S/ had the pleasure to be in attendance on the very first night for one of the first looks at the space. The event showcases the appliances in action with Chef Ned Bell preparing dinner in the Thermador suite as he explains the cooking process and the ease that comes with using Thermador appliances as a professional chef. Following dinner, guests were invited into the Gaggeneau suite for dessert where Interior Designer and TV Personality, Karin Bohn, gave an in-depth explanation of why she loves Gaggenau, using them while designing clients’ homes, and the key features of each appliance, including the stunning blue found inside the stove, or the three temperature wine fridge that keeps a red, rosé, and white at their proper temperatures all at once.

The latest collections from the three appliance brands will be available for consumers to view in person in their respective suites in Vancouver’s design community. “Luxe Appliance Studio embodies the spirit of the vibrant Mount Pleasant area, bringing additional innovation and inspiration to the community with a space designed for individuals to experience the BSH brands first-hand,” said Tim Mair, Head of Marketing, BSH Home Appliances Ltd on the opening. The showroom is designed to create an immersive and welcoming experience for both consumers and design professionals with the showroom team available to guide visitors in selecting appliances, with a focus on both culinary and design aspects. The showroom incorporates natural elements and textures such as deep green marble, oversized wood, natural white oak, and biophilia to create a sense of flow and continuity inspired by the West Coast’s old-growth forests and rugged natural beauty. Following the opening events, the space is now open to guests by appointment.
