Legendary menswear fashion icon Saul Korman has passed away at the age of 86. Known as the “Duke of the Danforth”, Korman owned and operated Korry’s Clothiers, a boutique specializing in quality tailoring and timeless fashion, a true pitstop for the debonair man. He has helped dress both celebrities and governmental dignitaries alike, while also appealing to those with a sophisticated sense of style. As a Danforth Avenue fixture for nearly six decades, Korman also helped develop the yearly Taste of the Danforth festival, a celebration of the neighbourhood’s vast cultural mosaic and proud lineage of culinary expertise. S/ salutes Korman’s unwavering support of menswear and the community he so deeply loved—rest peacefully.
