Whether it’s hosting family for a delicious home-cooked dinner or summoning your closest friends for a night of dancing, these cocktail recipes are crafted with every occasion in mind.
1. Holiday Apple Cider
- 1.5 L Apple cider
- 2 Cinnamon sticks (plus additional for garnish)
- ¼ C Maple syrup
- 6 Cloves
- 6 Whole allspice berries
- Peel of 1 orange, cut into strips
- Peel of 1 lemon, cut into strips
Garnish: Wrap orange and lemon strips around a cinnamon stick and place atop the cocktail.
Method: Combine all ingredients and bring to near boil on stove, allowing mixture to infuse for 10-15 minutes. You can leave the stove on low heat, or keep warm in a thermos. Alternatively, cool mixture in the fridge, then serve over ice as a refreshing beverage. If serving cold, pour into glass or mule mug full of ice. Makes approximately 11 servings.
Optional: For an adult twist, once the cider mixture is complete, add 16 oz of GREY GOOSE® Vodka, or GREY GOOSE® L’Orange Flavoured Vodka. Stir to combine. Makes approximately 11 servings.
2. Merry Berry Cosmo
- 1.5 oz GREY GOOSE® Vodka
- ¾ ozReal cranberry juice
- ½ oz Lime juice
- ¾ oz Mulling spice honey*
Garnish: Lemon peel, icing sugar around outside of glass (optional).
Method: Sprinkle the outside of your glass with icing sugar with a small sieve to mimic snow. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add ice. Shake until cold. Strain into a martini glass or cocktail coupe. Garnish with a twist of lemon zest.
Mulling Spice Honey* Make by combining 1 cup of honey, 1 cup of boiling water, 3 tea bags of mulling spice. Stir until honey is dissolved and let steep for 5-10min. Store at room temperature.
3. Snowcone Colada
- 1.5 oz GREY GOOSE® Vodka
- 1.5 oz Unsweetened coconut milk
- ¾ oz Orgeat (almond syrup—this can be purchased in many grocery stores or specialty cocktail stores, such as BYOB in Toronto)
- ½ oz Fresh lime juice
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Garnish: Grated nutmeg, fresh sprig of mint, dried orange slices
Method: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice, and shake until cold. Strain your cocktail over crushed ice. Add more crushed ice on top. Grate nutmeg on top of your cocktail. Tuck a spanked sprig of mint between the glass and ice for garnish and aromatics.
