The ultimate cool girl, Chloë Sevigny, has teamed up with coveted brand Warby Parker to create a line of frames. The collection, Crystal Overlay, launches in stores and online May 21st. The shapes of the glasses can be compared to the Tate frames, which Warby Parker collaborated with Chloë Sevigny on last year. The brand was thrilled to have Sevigny back on board for a second collection full of charm and charisma. New shapes such as Lindley, Jenkins, and Daphne can be seen in both sunglasses and eyeglasses. For the campaign, Sevigny brought her friends to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, including photographer Alex Phillipe Cohen, who shot the campaign.
“Warby Parker is an innovative company with amazing glasses, as well as a social conscience, and I’m excited to team up with them once
again on the Tate frame. The construction really highlights the metal workmanship, and I am proud to relaunch this sold-out design,” says Sevigny.
As always, for every sale, Warby Parker distributes one pair of glasses to someone in need. View the gallery for a look at the collection, starting at $225, and visit warbyparker.com/crystal-overlay to purchase.
