Inside the Social Music City venue in Milan, BOSS held its Fall/Winter 2020 runway show and welcomed a new generation. The future-focused runway show included both menswear and womenswear, and introduced a new lavender hue called “Heather.” The stunning shade filled the atmosphere of Social Music City and popped up all over the collection in full suits, dresses, and knits—a perfect compliment to the navy, grey, and black tones seen in the BOSS collections. An organic pattern was shown across jackets and accessories, as well as red and coral accents as a warm counterpart to the lilac hue. The collection, titled “Generations”, explored modern tailoring through reworked styles from BOSS icons, merging decades of tailoring in a new bold way that proves it is more relevant than ever.
The show was set to the sounds of a live orchestra that performed “Down to Earth”—a piece composed by Henri Scars Struck. The orchestra made for an emotional background, encouraging the guests to relax and find a moment of stillness to enjoy the beauty of the collection. Models including Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk, Doutzen Kroes, and Adut Akech walked in stunning outerwear pieces, jersey dresses, fringe, leather, and the season’s newest handbags and square-toe boots. Celebrities such as Cara Delevingne, Caro Daur, Amber Valletta, and Orlando Bloom got a front row view of the stunning BOSS Fall/Winter 2020 collection.
