On September 12th, Michael Kors took the runway crowd on a global getaway with a travel-inspired Spring 2019 collection. The show took place at Pier 17, the city’s Seaport District, showcasing details from Michael Kors’ favourite destinations around the world. Art director turned artist, Christina Zimpel, had original artwork shown in a gallery for guests to view before taking their seats, which were also wrapped in Zimpel’s work. Her optimistic artwork filled the space with even more light, setting the mood before the colourful looks graced the runway. Light wash denim, pops of print and bold colours, and seaside accessories rounded out a stunning collection.
