The latest Michael Kors Watch Hunger Stop 2020 product capsule, titled “FOOD IS LOVE. – SHARE YOUR HEART“, launched October 1st for its eighth successful year. The Watch Hunger Stop campaign works to fight global famine by supporting the United Nations World Food Programme, with 100 percent of profits generated by the capsule collection being donated to the organization. The 2020 offerings takes an environmentally friendly approach with the ‘LOVE’ patch adorned on a unisex pocket tee made from 100% organic cotton, and a denim tote made of 25% Repreve® recycled polyester. The heartfelt campaign—shot by Menelik Puryear—is fronted by the label’s very own employees, offering a sense of community during the current health crisis. “In the face of this global pandemic, we see just how interconnected we all are, and this reinforced my belief that we all want to do good and make a difference in the world,” says Kors.
To further the support from the community, the launch also includes an Instagram filter “Share Your Heart.” For each post using the filter, 50 meals will be donated to World Food Programme. Michael Kors will also donate 50 meals for each selfie posted wearing the LOVE t-shirt or tote, using the hashtag #WatchHungerStop. Donations to World Food Programme can also be made directly on WatchHungerStop.com.
