Hamilton Pays Homage to Fashion and Film with Hollywood-Inspired Timepiece Collection

Celebrating the strong ties between fashion and film, Hamilton has teamed up with Emmy Award-winning costume designer Janie Bryant on a new capsule collection. Hamilton timepieces have appeared in over 500 films since 1932, proving the brand’s affiliation with authentic storytelling. Bryant is similarly committed to genuine character development through her iconic costume design for Mad Men and Why Women Kill. “In film, we use fashion to establish a narrative’s setting and a character’s personality, all before the dialogue even begins,” says Bryant. “This capsule brings that dynamic expression off-screen with timepieces that reimagine the relationship between past, present, and future.”

The collection showcases Bryant’s reinvention of iconic Hamilton styles with two new thematic interpretations, the present-day and the future. The “today” timepieces tell a more subtle story with muted neutral shades, while the “tomorrow” options revel in bold metallics. The collection includes three timepieces: the signature sporty stopwatch Intra-Matic Automatic Chronograph, the art-deco-inspired Ardmore Quartz, and the timeless Lady Hamilton Vintage Quartz. “Our partnership with Janie was an incredible opportunity to refresh our iconic selection in a way that looks towards tomorrow without forgetting yesterday,” reveals Hamilton CEO Vivian Stauffer. “By examining our heritage through a new lens, we created a true time capsule for the wrist.”
