Gucci’s revealed its latest collection, Ouverture of Something that Never Ended, in ‘Guccifest,’ a 7-day miniseries directed by Gus Van Sant and Gucci Creative Director, Alessandro Michele. This marks the brand’s second collection showcase since Michele announced he wanted to break away from the regulated seasonal shows. Each episode is different from the next and features beloved stars and talents from music, film, and fashion. The series follows actress Silvia Calderoni, dressed exclusively in Gucci, in various eccentric scenarios from her apartment, to the post office, to vintage shops, with guest appearances from Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Florence Welch, and many more stylish friends of the brand sporting the collection’s 97 looks. In addition to the narrative element, Gucci released photographs of each outfit, chats between star viewers, and behind-the-scenes snippets on their Instagram.
