S/ Was There: Dior Presents Its Spring/Summer 2024 Collection

In her latest Dior collection, Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri found inspiration in fearless rebels who challenged a male-dominated world. The Spring-Summer 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection, showcased within the Tuileries Garden, transported us into a dark, compelling realm that beautifully juxtaposed femininity and feminism. Models graced the runway in sheer dresses, crisp button-downs, and floor-length jackets, while intricate embroidery adorned the designs with nature-inspired motifs. The venue itself was transformed with an immersive video collage created by artist Elena Bellantoni that featured imagery from vintage ads and idealized depictions of housewives. This collection marked a significant departure from Chiuri’s previous Dior creations, embracing a rebellious spirit that resonated throughout the models’ beauty looks.
