On April 30th, Dior presented their Fall 2022 collection in Seoul, a first for the Maison. The show took place at Ewha Woman’s University in the Republic of Korea with a skatepark-inspired set in the midst of the stunning architecture. Dior spotlighted the brand’s heritage through pleated skirts, white blouses paired with black ties, and new technical fabrics that explored and disrupted structure and uniform. Gowns were created specifically for the show that played up the couturier’s notable silhouettes, adding cutouts for a daring take on eveningwear. In addition to showing the collection, Dior also opened a concept store on May 1st in Seongsu-dong, a growing district that is welcoming a new generation and energy.
