Showcased outside the new David Geffen Galleries at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Jonathan Anderson debuted his first Cruise collection for Dior. It’s a fitting location — Christian Dior himself received an Oscar nomination in 1955 for his costume designs, cementing the house’s longstanding relationship with Hollywood. Playing into the old Hollywood of Los Angeles, the set was decorated with vintage cars and fog illuminated by bright movie set lights.
The glamour seeped throughout the Cruise 2027 collection in silk gowns, glitter capes, and suede jackets anchored by a slew of new coveted accessories from footwear to diamond encrusted sunglasses.

The show opened with a stunning tiered yellow and floral dress, as seen in the crowd on Sabrina Carpenter. Fringe, floral scarves, and tailored silhouettes created a full cinematic experience. Northern Irish born Jonathan Anderson even included a cheeky nod to Derry Girls with a shirt that read “Says I, To Myself Says I,” the classic line from Uncle Colm.
Headbands were worn with feathered words such as DIOR, BUZZ, and FLOW, created by milliner Philip Treacy as a reimagined ode to his previous creations from Philip Treacy Couture Fall 2001. Anderson also collaborated with artist Ed Ruscha on shirts for the collection, nodding to LA’s sense of the mundane meeting grandeur.
The star-studded event included brand ambassadors and guests of the house such as Anya Taylor-Joy, Sabrina Carpenter, Jisoo as seen in the campaign leading up to the show. Additional Hollywood stars included Mikey Madison, Miley Cyrus, ROLE MODEL, Jeff Goldblum, and a sweet mother daughter moment with Maude Apatow and Leslie Mann and more.
An intimate after-party took place under the stars at Chateau Marmont, where guests gathered for a glamorous evening of celebration. Complete with karaoke, poolside canapés, and late-night passed In-N-Out Burger trays making their way through the crowd, the atmosphere felt effortlessly cinematic. Throughout the evening, guests sipped cocktails and toasted Dior’s spectacular latest collection in true Hollywood fashion.
