On September 11, 2018, creative director Stuart Vevers presented Coach‘s Spring 2019 women’s and men’s collection. The eerie yet picturesque show transformed Pier 94 into an unravelling prairie-like landscape. Models stormed the dreamy desert to a punky, metal soundtrack wearing billowing cotton blouses and layers of distressed leather. Strong western influences offered a youthful, free-spirited “new romantic gang”. An ongoing collaboration with Disney appeared with loveable images of characters from classic movies like Pinocchio and Bambi. Actress and brand ambassador Selena Gomez was in attendance alongside artist Petra Collins, among other star-studded faces. The show came to a close as Dree Hemingway exited the runway.
