On February 13th, Stuart Vevers presented Coach’s Fall 2018 men’s and women’s collection at New York’s multi-court basketball complex, Basketball City. This season’s collection took a look at a dark romance, mixing goth and supernatural toughness, and explored the tensions between New York City and the American Southwest. Leather, feathers, sharp thorn roses and mystical symbols covered the garments for one-of-kind prints and pieces. Tie it all together with a runway that was transformed into a dark, misty forest and it made for one eerily beautiful show. The crowd was a slew of friendly faces from the Coach ambassador family, including the current face of the brand, Selena Gomez. Another important launch at the show was Coach’s Dreamer bag, inspired by two of the greatest things: New York City and romantics. How fitting for a runway show the day before Valentine’s Day.
