Ferragamo’s New Eau de Parfum Is Energetic and Bold

Ferragamo adds another striking offering to its olfactory universe with the introduction of its newest fragrance.

This scent, named Signorina Libera, was created in collaboration with famed perfumer Jérôme Epinette, who is known for his love of exceptional quality naturals.

Now working as the VP Fine Fragrance Perfumer at Robertet, Epinette brings his sense of expertise and craftsmanship to the Ferragamo scent.

The perfume is a luxurious blend of both floral and musky heart and base notes that slowly reveal themselves as they’re mixed with the multi-faceted and robust flavours of each top note.

Signorina Libera opens with sparkling velvet pear and calabrian bergamot mixed with the aromatic freshness of elemi, an oleoresin harvested from trees native to the Philippines. It is also made up of a rose and plum nectar fusion which work together to create a contrast of delicate and sensual notes, while Italian orris butter, pink sugar, cashmere woods, and ambroxan create sweetness and warmth.

These ingredients combine to make a deeply layered scent that contains multitudes—just like the women it was inspired by.

By creating a modern reinterpretation of this sobriquet, the eau de parfum is “an invitation to all women to express their unique personality and follow their own path with the courage and confidence of being who they are, beyond any fear or prejudice, supporting each other, and embracing the empowering values of joy and togetherness,” says the brand.

The scent’s allure carries through to its packaging. Created with sustainable fabric, an embellished Vara bow sits atop a vibrant yellow glass bottle, and a rose gold boule resembling an actual rose, elegantly covers the nozzle.

Signorina Libera joins the robust Signorina Fragrance Collection which includes such signature scents as Signorina Eau de Parfum, Signorina Misteriosa, and Signorina Ribelle.

Signorina Libera is available for purchase at The Hudson’s Bay and Shoppers Drug Mart.
