Just in time for summer, Dior opens the doors on the latest addition to its Dorchester Collection portfolio with Dior Spa on top of The Lana hotel.
Created by Forster and Partners and with interior decor by Giles and Boissier, the Dior Spa is the epitome of luxury. Sprawling across the 29th floor of the hotel, the spa has incredible panoramic views of Dubai’s cityscape while also providing a range of exceptional facial and body treatments—three of which are completely unique to the new location.
Avant-Garde Practices
Carried out on a futon on the floor, The Escale at The Lana is a Japanese-inspired treatment that pays tribute to the House’s first open-air spa, and uses a unique combination of kneading, friction, percussion, and stretching to release your mind and muscles.
The Dior Stone Therapy massage uses semi-precious stones to harmonize your body’s energy, and is combined with a micro-abrasion facial that uses sapphire crystals and an LED therapy to reveal visibly smoother skin.
The third treatment is a D-Sculpt body massage that uses wood, dry brushing and toning techniques which helps to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
Dior Spa at The Lana also uses Iyashi Dôme technology which—similar to a sauna—provides heat through long infrared rays. Guests can choose a soothing, relaxing session or turn up the heat for a powerful session that helps the body look more firm.
Tried-and-True Treatments
More traditional offerings at Dior Spa The Lana include Hydrafacial technology, and LED light therapy. These treatments can be customized to treat a range of skin concerns and types.
For the hands and feet, guests can also enjoy a scrub, shea butter wrap, and massage before finishing off with a coat of colour on the nails.
Ultra-Luxe Add-Ons
For those looking for a more holistic experience, exclusively to The Lana, Dior Spa offers half- and full-day ultra-luxe journeys. To start, a driver will collect guests from their home, hotel or the airport in a bespoke Rolls Royce. Then guests are treated to a one-of-a-kind wellness experience that can also include cocktails, lunch, and sports sessions—all before being driven back to their chosen destinations.
