This holiday season, @maisonmargiela has been rolling out the 12 Days of Margiela. Inspired by an archival embroidered cotton calendar of the Maison, on the 6th day the iconic @mm6maisonmargiela is being highlighted. Initially born in 1997, this line offers a modern lens to fashion and uses a white horizontal stitch as its signature.

Last night, an abandoned New York City subway station was transformed into a @chanelofficial runway. The occasion? @matthieu_blazy’s debut Métiers d’art collection. For @matthieu_blazy, the subway is an equalizer, a common means of transportation that welcomes all walks of life. The show notes describe the setting as “a microcosm of New York and a metaphor for fashion itself.”
