5 New Summer Beauty Products We’re Coveting

Lotus Youth Preserve Eye Cream:
2. Fresh Lotus Youth

As in a fine cocktail, the right blend of ingredients can make all the difference when it comes to the final product. Fresh recently welcomed two new additions to its bestselling Lotus Youth Preserve line of skincare with Super 7 Complex: an eye cream and pre-moisturizer radiance lotion. The seven ingredient proprietary “Super 7” blend includes anti-agers like polyphenol-packed lotus flower extract, blue-green algae and vitamins C and E to keep the skin in its best condition. Lotus Youth Preserve Eye Cream with Super 7 Complex, $49, at Sephora.

Dior Mascara:

3. Dior

Dior’s much-admired Diorshow Mascara has a new formulation that is enriched with microfibres to create the look of added lashes while silk-protein conditioners keep your natural ones in top shape. The tube also boasts a new, patented air-lock valve to keep the mascara from drying out. Dior Diorshow Mascara, $32.

La Mer Moisturizing Cream:

4. La Mer

La Mer has a soft spot for the ocean—it’s where founder Dr. Max Huber derived the kelp that would become a central ingredient of the brand’s powerfully healing “miracle broth.” In celebration of World Oceans Day 2015 and to represent La Mer’s Blue Heart—a designation for its continued support of the exploration and protection of the earth’s oceans—the brand will offer a limited-edition Blue Heartthemed jar of its cult favourite Crème de la Mer. La Mer Crème de la Mer, $510 for 100 ml, at Holt Renfrew.

Lancôme Miracle Cushion:

5. Lancome

“The Cushion” is a major makeup trend in Asia, and has been for years. Lancôme has brought the innovative compact—and the remarkable product it contains—to North America with its Miracle Cushion skin-perfecting makeup. The Miracle Cushion’s dispensing system—a sponge-containing compact that holds the product—is novel, but it’s the skin-perfecting serum-like formula that packs an impressive punch. The lightweight fluid foundation offers medium coverage that’s buildable and budge-proof, with a hydrating finish that’s nearly undetectable on the skin. Lancôme Miracle Cushion, $48.

Bite Beauty Lipstick:

8. Bite

Canadian brand Bite Beauty has created a patriotic, limited edition five-lipstick collection inspired by the Canadian Maple, and the rainbow of burnt orange, red, mulled wine, plum and burgundy shades of its fall leaves. If the collection’s colour range isn’t enough to spark excitement, the matte crème formula’s light maple-sugar scent certainly will. Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lipsticks, $28 each, exclusively from July to October at Sephora.
